“Social Capacity Building on Climate Change in Higher Education: Training Workshop on Perception Management, Awareness Raising and Resilience Building” was held on March 15, 2018 within the scope of IklimIN Project for Awareness on Climate.

Topics such as determination of the course contents on climate change and sustainability (compulsory/elective), the possibilities of inclusion of sustainability and climate change in the courses in current instructional plans and social responsibility projects, determination of the contents of training seminars to be offered to the students/academicians/administrative staff/DEPARK companies in order to raise awareness on climate change and sustainability within the project, and the lecturers who can contribute to these training activities and the structure of the graduate program were discussed during Training Workshop.

Prof. Dr. Hikmet Hüseyin Çatal, Vice Rector and Deputy Dean of Faculty of Engineering made the opening speech of the workshop. Then Prof. Dr. Sevinç Özkul presented the project to the participants.
