Project Purpose :

To contribute to the global efforts for the mitigation of climate change, adaptation to reduce the vulnerability of natural and human system against actual or expected climate change effects, awareness of the municipal staffs/local decision makers about climate change effects will be raised via CLIMACTION.

Activities/ Outputs :

1. Climate Change Commission Studies will be conducted with the implementation of surveys. It is expected 48 local authorities and stakeholder to benefit from infrastructure development initiatives.
2. Municipal staffs will be trained and study visits to EU member countries will be conducted under Capacity Building Studies.
3. Awareness Raising Campaign will be launched. An Action Plan in English and Turkish will be prepared. Project visibility materials will be prepared.
4. One educational film will be published.
