4th Training Seminar on Climate Change, organized in order to raise awareness about climate change in local level within the scope of Enhancing Required Joint Efforts on Climate Action Project (İklimIN) carried out by Turkish Republic Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation within the framework of financial cooperation between European Union and Turkey, was held in Hatay.

Representatives of NGOs, universities, development agencies and local administrations operating in Hatay, Gaziantep and Osmaniye the province participated in the training held between 17-19 April. During the 3-day trainings, the participants received information on “Climate Policy of Turkey”, “Role of Climate Change in Ecological Systems”, “Role of Energy Policies in Fight against Climate Change”, “Interaction between Climate Change and Agriculture in Turkey”, “Responsibility of Youth in Fight against Climate Change”, “Effects of Climate Change on Human Health”.
