“Information Seminars on Roof-Mounted Solar Energy Systems and Renewable Energy Cooperatives” were held on March 7, 2018 and April 2, 2018 in Bodrum within the scope of the “Project on Roof-Mounted Installations in Coastal Cities” carried out by Bodrum Municipality and GUNDER, funded by Republic of Turkey and the European Union, and of which contract authority is Central Finance and Contracting Unit.

In the seminars organized with the aim of raising awareness about the use of solar energy and giving information about the ways of use, presentations were made to the participants about the benefits of solar energy and the ways of production/usage. Furthermore, a specialist from the Ministry of Customs and Trade gave information about the Renewable Energy Cooperatives.

Within the scope of the project, 2 Focus Group Works on April 12, 2018 and May 24, 2018, Trainings on Solar Energy Installation on 25 – 26 May 2018 and Project Closing Meeting on June 25, 2018, where all project outputs will be shared are planned to be held in Bodrum. In order to present the concrete results of the project and to make the solar systems visible, a roof-mounted system with 3 kW capacity is planned to be installed to the building of Bodrum Konacık Police Department.
