Climate Change Training Held in Artvin
The third of the Climate Change Trainings continued in order to raise awareness on the local scale was held in Artvin within the scope of Enhancing Required Joint Efforts on Climate Action Project (İklimIN) carried out by Turkish Republic Ministry of Environment and Urbanization within the framework of financial cooperation between European Union and Turkey.
The representatives of NGOs and local administrations operating in Artvin and nearby cities participated in the training held in Artvin between April 10-12, 2019. The participants were informed about various subjects such as “Climate Policy of Turkey”, “Role of Climate Change in Ecological Systems”, “Water Resources Management and Climate Change”, “Interaction between Climate Change and Turkey’s Agriculture” and “, “Economic and Social Impacts of Climate-Based Disaster” and Responsibility of Youth in Fight against Climate Change” within the scope of the three-day training.
