Trainings on Climate Change, organized for the representatives of the relevant public institutions and organizations, universities, civil society organizations and local governments within the scope of Enhancing Required Joint Efforts on Climate Action Project carried out by Turkish Republic Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation within the framework of financial cooperation between European Union and Turkey, continues.
After Sinop, Samsun, Artvin, Hatay, Sivas, Canakkale, Tokat, Erzurum and Tekirdag, the Training on Climate Change in Nevsehir was held between the dates September 4-6. Participants from Nevsehir and the surrounding provinces received extensive training on various topics included in the Series of Climate Modules produced and printed within the scope of the project for three days. “The Scientific Basis of Climate Change”, “International Extent, Legal and Corporate Structure in Fight against Climate Change”, “Climate Policy of Turkey”, “Effects of Climate Change on Human Health” and “Interaction between Climate Change and Agriculture in Turkey” are included among these topics.
Trainings on Climate Change planned to be held in Van, Edirne, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Mardin, Izmir, Aydin, Adana, Elazig and Ankara will be completed in December 2019.
