The 2nd stage under the title “Training on Sustainable Energy Cooperative” of the “Project on Consumer Awareness and Responsibility in Energy Use to Reduce CO2 Emissions in Cities” was held, which is among the environmental projects of Edremit Municipality in Balıkesir.

The 2nd stage under the title “Training on Sustainable Energy Cooperative” of the “Project on Consumer Awareness and Responsibility in Energy Use to Reduce CO2 Emissions in Cities” was held with the participation of the representatives of various sectors and NGOs, which is among the environmental projects of Edremit Municipality in Balıkesir within the scope of the “Grant Program of Capacity Development in the Field of Climate Change in Turkey” funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey, and of which main beneficiary is the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation. During the interactive presentation made by Oral Kaya, Troya Environment President and Member of Troya Renewable Energy Cooperative, participants were informed about the establishment of a Renewable Energy Cooperative in Edremit. The training, which also provided information about the establishment of renewable energy cooperatives and the costs of establishment, attracted the attention especially of the members of different cooperatives. Participation certificate was given to the participants at the end of the training.
