Awareness raising training was held on Monday, May 7, 2018 under the project “Empower Change for Climate Movement” carried out by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of the “Grant Program of Capacity Development in the Field of Climate Change in Turkey” funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey, and of which main beneficiary is the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation.

Training was held for 22 municipal employees under the title of “Global and National Policies in the Field of the Fight against Climate Change” with the moderation of Regional Environment Centre (REC). During the training, information about Global and National Policies in the Field of the Fight against Climate Change, the Effects of Climate Change on Denizli, and Fight against Climate Change and Cities: The Effects, Adaptation and Mitigation were given and implementation studies were conducted.
