Trainings on Climate Change, organized for the representatives of the relevant public institutions and organizations, universities, civil society organizations and local governments within the scope of Enhancing Required Joint Efforts on Climate Action Project (İklimIN) carried out by Turkish Republic Ministry of Environment and Urbanization within the framework of financial cooperation between European Union and Turkey, continues.
8th Training on Climate Change was held in Erzurum between the dates of 31 July – 2 August. The training was attended by representatives of relevant public institutions and organizations, development agencies, universities, non-governmental organizations and local governments in Erzurum, as well as representatives from Ağrı, Kars, Bingöl, Bayburt and Muş. Participants had comprehensive trainings on subjects such as “The Scientific Basis of Climate Change, Its Effects on Turkey”, “International Extent, Legal and Corporate Structure in Fight against Climate Change”, “Cities and Climate Change”, and “Interaction between Climate Change and Agriculture in Turkey” included in the Series of Climate Modules produced and printed within the scope of the project.
